Whitehouse Farm Centre

See the animals, try the crafts and play the games at Whitehouse Farm Centre in Northumberland. The only concern you’ll have is what to do next!

Working Farm

Whitehouse Farm Centre is a sprawling working farm covering a massive 40 acres and as well as the farm activities there are also extensive no-farming attractions for children of all ages. Tots love the pedal tractors, swings and animal rockers while the go-karts provide an irresistible challenge to older family members.

All Weather Adventures

The weather can’t ruin this day out as there are so many under cover areas. There are animals to see and maybe even feed, groom and play with, crafts to try your hands at, games to play in the straw area and real adventures to be had in the adventure playground or on tractor and trailer rides, farm walks or go-karts. The rain can’t stop play because for every activity there’s an indoor and an outdoor version all supervised by qualified and where relevant divided in to specific age range activities.

Animal Magic

With so many areas to this farm centre you’ll be spoilt for choice. Visit the Guinea Pig World, Rabbit Village, Chick Nursery, the duck and wildfowl pond and Farmer’s Den soft-play barn where small children get the chance to pet the resident animals. Exotic animals like Meercats, Wallabies and Llamas are also there to admire and there are rare breeds of sheep, pigs and cows too as well as a variety of insects, reptiles and creepy-crawlies!

Special Events

The Farm Centre runs a programme of special events throughout each season of the year. February sees half term fun with the start of bottle feeding lambs while in March there’s a special Mother’s Day event where Mum’s get spoilt for the day. Other events range from Teddy Bear’s picnic, Fairy Tale week, Halloween Spooktaculars and much more.
