Energize your children and boost their confidence through creative activity at Dublin’s Imaginosity! They can try on costumes, change scenery, indulge in imaginative play all under one huge roof.

Simple Philosophy

Imaginosity has been developed especially for children under 10 and its philosophy is simple – children learn more effectively when they’re having fun and the creators of this museum have made the most of the powerful imagination of our future generations!

Ignite kids’ imaginations

With so much to see and do at Imaginosity, children will behave exactly as children should, with natural curiosity and wonder at the world around them. They’ll laugh and play their way through the day, learning all the time.

Exhibition Areas

The museum is arranged over 2.5 floors and every exhibit has been designed to nurture imagination, encourage a sense of self, boost confidence and experiences. There are several areas that replicate real life and allow children free space to role play and learn more.

All kinds of experiences

Children can visit The Garage, pull on the overalls, fill up the car with petrol and take a ride in the Imaginosity SmartCar! They can head on over to the Art Studio to get hands-on with their very own art works. In the Theatre Space they can create their own stories, dress up, change scenery and operate lighting! At the Construction Company your would-be builders are encouraged to put on their hard hats, load up with plastic tools and get building. Perhaps the mini shopaholics in your family would rather make their way to the Town Centre where they can make their purchases, operate tills and stop for refreshments in the Dublin Diner!

Special Events Programme

Imaginosity has a fantastic schedule of events running throughout the year with seasonal specials such as Easter events, Halloween Hoots and Christmas bonanzas! They also celebrate Science Week with a wide range of fun, interactive and educational activities to keep the young minds busy.

Puppet Storytime

Because the whole museum is geared towards under ten year olds and so the puppet storytime is a particular delight. Watch young faces light up while stories are told with the help of puppetry!

Highlight of the Day

Getting seriously messy in the Art Studio.
