For those that love aircraft and military vehicles, the Duxford Imperial War Museum is Britain´s largest aviation museum. There are interactive exhibitions such as the ‘Battle of Britain’ which explains the story to the kids and how the war was won. The Battle of Britain Airshow is also held here.

Or visit a medieaval castle such as Warwick Castle, brimming with history and legend. There was a time when the Earls of Warwick were richer than the Crown of Kingdom! Cross the drawbridge and explore the ramparts, see men in armour, and visit the scary dungeons.
